Hey my beauties! We are moving along into 2026 and it feels a bit busy already. This could be good for some and overwhelming for others. Hopefully, this will help to quiet the noise a bit with your beauty routine at the very least. I’m very excited for the list of favorite things I’ve put together so far. I have used everything on this list and can give firsthand opinions on what I love so much about each one. Best Holding Hairspray: ColorWOW Texas Hold Em Big Hold Hairspray. Retails for $30, this is a high-performance, strong hold hairspray with heat protection and helps with fighting frizz through its anti-humidity technology. It’s been a LONG time since I’ve been THIS impressed with a holding spray that holds while leaving the hair flowy and doesn’t get sticky. Best Edge Control/Styling Wax: Amika On Lock High Hold Wax. Retails for $30, this is a workable wax infused with shea butter and provides high hold definition. I’m a big fan of this for that perfect slicked back ponytail look. Unlike hair gels, this wax will not dry the hair out while giving the hair that natural look that everyone will think you worked hard on when in reality the product did all the work for you. Best Styling Tool: Dyson Airwrap. Retails for $649.99 BUT as of February 1, 2026 there’s an online sale for $499.99 on www.Dyson.com. I have been using my Dyson Airwrap for my at-home use. I’ve recently changed up my look from curly to strictly blowout styling. In true hair nerd fashion I want to keep the healthiest version of a blowout that doesn’t compromise my hair but also makes it easier for me to maintain at home. You can shop either their ‘Straight and Wavy’ or ‘Curly and Coily’ models. the difference between the two models are the attachments that are available for each one. Much like the Dyson blowdryer, the Airwrap utilizes airflow instead if high infared heat to dry and/or style the hair for a safer heat tool. The styling tools are PERFECT for touching up your hair or creating waves and curls for a quick switch up style. There are less expensive options similar to the Airwrap, I know Shark Ninja has a similar tool that retails for $399 on their site, www.sharkninja.com. I have not used this brand personally but I’ve heard good things about them. Again, we don’t gatekeep around here!
Best Volumizing Foam: ColorWOW Xtra Large Bombshell Volumizer. Retails for $26, this is a first of its kind non-drying volumizing technology. This has no alcohol and no salts and gives volume that lasts for days. I’ve been using this for my blowouts on my own hair. When I wear my hair straight I have 3-4 days TOPS before my hair gets super greasy. Best Dry Shampoo: ColorWOW Insta-Wow Advance Dry Shampoo. Retails for $32, this dry shampoo removes 95% of oil from your hair. If you’re not familiar with dry shampoos and how they work; imagine your hair is not quite fresh from your recent shampoo but you’re not quite ready to shampoo your hair. At the same time you want to look like you have freshly shampooed and styled hair, that’s where dry shampoo’s come in. Dry shampoo’s helps to transform your oily, greasy hair into hair that looks more refreshed. I love the Insta-Wow because it’s the first dry shampoo that I’ve used that doesn’t leave a white case on my hair, I noticed a significant difference immediately and it smells AMAZEBALLS!!!! I typically spray this on my hair when my hair is old and I add curls using my Dyson Airwrap and it looks MUCH better; an easy fix before I have an event or need to be on camera for a class or social media post. This is my 2026 list so far, I had way more products I’ve tried and I liked but these have stood out the most.
